Morning... pages, coffee and crochet

this a.m.- pages, coffee and crochet... what you don't see is the storm (aka two little ones) that blew through as  I was doing this. :)

still working away on gifts, mixed in of course with all the daily to do's. wondering will I get it done.
started feeling a bit grinch as I got a bit stressed about the approaching holiday and all that is expected along with them. got over it. don't want to feel THAT.

was reminded of this via emily

"Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence."
  Max Ehrmann,Desiderata.

hope your weekend went well.

dana

I often feel this about hols and my creative time being taken up by obligatory things but I feel it has got better over time.

Happy gift making.

yeah, it's so hard to keep your thoughts straight with all the expectations and pressure. You will get it all done, because it seems like you are enjoying the "making."

That top photo is beautiful. Amazing what a different perspective can do.

It is so hard with everyone about you in a panic of lists and demands not to get caught up in the maddness! Looks like you are remembering the important things though Dana, keep enjoying! Em x

The desiderata is one of my favourite poems - love it! That first photo is gorgeous, like a snowflake or spider's web

I love the bits of light coming through your crocheted circle in that top pic. So pretty. You are so good getting your gifts started early and working so diligently on them. I can't even start to think about any of that until Dec. 1st, then I wonder why I'm so crazy through most of December.
