I can't agree more.... I had an evening of creating last night and I totally and utterly felt transformed by it. It is soul food.
I think it releases one of those really nice brain chemicals :D
Feeling of accomplishment along with a touch of freedom.
Nutty
(sans children because it is 5.50am...mwhahahahaha...)
Soooo true, Dana! It is so easy to feel called by all the "other work" that is waiting on us to be done! But nothing is more rewarding than giving into that creative calling instead!! It is renewing, revitalizing, and so empowering! I need to give into it much much more often! Thanks for the reminder!! :)
Happy creating,
Jennifer
Hurray for opting to play & create rather than do the laundry! The photo just looks so calm, peaceful and inviting.
yes! and such wonderful color - always!
Ah, I love that feeling. That sense of accomplishment and fulfillment. I'm glad you got a nice little session while your girl napped.
fabulous, dana. love what you're doing.
totally agree with ignoring the domestics and art making you feel better. lovely + inspiring :)
Dearest dana, your creative space is so inspiring! Loving all the inspiring colors! And yes "art is really so good for your soul"! Have a lovely merry happy weekend and love to you!
Those colours are gorgeous together - I would be ignoring the laundry too! :D
