There is an old saying that when the student is ready the teacher will appear. That is exactly what happened for me when I signed up for the e-course with Marisa. I don't know if I can put into words what she has done for me but I will try. I want to say she has given me wings but since we were in the fish bowl I guess I can say she gave me fins:) The amount of guidance, honesty, inspiration, and just great information she provided is something that to me has been invaluable. She was a generous, kind, and wonderful teacher. She emphasized that she wanted to empower us so we could become who we are meant to be, no matter what that is. She wanted us to know that it is possible. Possible to live your life as an artist, online. We all discovered that many of the feelings we have are shared by many. It was a safe place, an informative place and a place I am sad to see go. I will miss you Marisa. What will I do with my Thursday nights?
I am going to be taking a break for a short bit. But I wanted to mention that I signed up for this holiday ornament swap. I can't wait! If you are interested sign up soon. I think there is only a few more days to do so.

This is such a lovely post and i feel the same way when it comes to marisa's classes in the fish bowl and i feel so lucky to be able to connect with you on my creative journel. Have a lovely merry happy week and a lovely merry happy break! Love to you!
I can only agree about the fish bowl! It's a simply amazing experience, and yet I find it very hard to put words on it...
The holiday ornament swap looks like a lot of fun, wish I could participate, but I know it isn't realistic for me to plan in any time to create handmade ornaments right now, as I've got so much else on my plate...
Take care and hope to stay in touch!
Hi Dana, this is a very beautifully written post and I agree wholeheartedly. It was an invaluable class and I'm also sad its over! Have a good break and enjoy your ornament swap. Sounds like fun! Wini :)
Oh goodness Dana. Thank you SO much. I'm usually speechless when it comes to these kinds of beautiful posts. I am incredibly touched that the class and my teaching means this to you. LOVED meeting you and and want to thank you again for all you brought to the class. I'm going to miss you too. But before I go, one more video in class that I am about to record right now. :) xoxo
