I came across this this a.m. as I opened a book I hadn't read in a long time. I really love it! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I am going into a bit of a quiet mode. I am preparing for Christmas and making inspiration boards and sketches, which I hope to share soon.
Peace,
Dana

What an inspiring quote!

Lately, I've been reading about wabi-sabi. a Japanese world view centered on perfect imperfection. The beauty of natural processes, asymmetry and asperity. It's been very refreshing as it is so different from the Western ideas of perfection, not least in the design world.

Here's another quote on art and passion: "There is no such thing as perfection in art. There is only the continued pursuit of passion." (Barrett Edwards)

Hope you have a merry Christmas and I can't wait to see what you create!
